Which US coins are silver
All US dimes, quarters, and half dollars minted through 1964 are 90% silver. Kennedy Half Dollars from 1965–1970 are 40% silver. War Nickels (1942–1945) are 35% silver. Morgan Dollars (1878–1921) and Peace Dollars (1921–1935) are 90% silver. The app identifies all of these and immediately shows their silver content weight and current melt value.

World silver coins
Many countries produced silver coins well into the 20th century, and these show up regularly in estate sales, flea markets, and international travel. British florins and shillings, Canadian 80% silver dollars, Mexican silver pesos, and European silver coinage from before the 1970s are all commonly found and identified by the app.
For world coins, the app shows both the silver content weight and the numismatic value if the coin has collector significance beyond its metal content.
Silver bullion rounds and bars
Modern silver bullion — American Silver Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, Austrian Philharmonics, and privately minted rounds — is also identified. The app distinguishes between government-issued bullion (which carries a small premium) and privately minted rounds (which trade closer to spot) and shows current premiums above spot price for popular issues.
